Progress Wrestling
Progress Wrestling is a British professional wrestling promotion founded in 2011 by Jim Smallman and Jon Briley (Jon Sherlock) in London. Progress became one of the leading promotions during the British wrestling boom of the 2010s.
The promotion gained international recognition for its high-quality matches and hot crowds at The Garage in Highbury, London. Progress has featured top British and international talent including Pete Dunne, Tyler Bate, Will Ospreay, Zack Sabre Jr., and many who went on to WWE NXT UK. The annual Super Strong Style 16 tournament became a prestigious event.
WWE became a minority investor in Progress in 2019. Despite changes in the British wrestling landscape and controversies affecting the scene, Progress continues to operate and produce events in the UK. The promotion maintains its reputation for athletic wrestling and passionate fans.
