About

JWP Joshi Puroresu was a Japanese women's professional wrestling promotion that operated from 1992 to 2017. Founded by legendary wrestler Jaguar Yokota as an offshoot of All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling, JWP developed its own identity within the joshi wrestling scene.

JWP produced talented wrestlers including Dynamite Kansai, Mayumi Ozaki, Cutie Suzuki, Devil Masami, Hikaru Shida, and Commando Bolshoi. The promotion was known for a mix of technical wrestling, high-flying action, and strong character work.

Financial difficulties and the evolving joshi wrestling landscape led to JWP's closure in 2017. Many of its wrestlers continued their careers in other promotions including Stardom, Ice Ribbon, and independent shows. JWP's legacy remains as an important chapter in women's wrestling history.
