Shimmer Women Athletes

SHIMMER Women Athletes is an American women's professional wrestling promotion founded in 2005 by Dave Prazak and wrestler Allison Danger. SHIMMER was created to provide a platform for serious women's wrestling in the United States during a period when women's matches in major promotions received minimal time.

SHIMMER has featured some of the most talented women wrestlers in the world including Sara Del Rey, MsChif, Cheerleader Melissa, Madison Eagles, and numerous future WWE and AEW stars. The promotion is known for treating women's wrestling with the same respect and time given to men's matches.

Operating primarily through DVD/streaming releases and periodic live events, SHIMMER has maintained its position as a respected destination for women's wrestling. The promotion continues to tape events in the Chicago area and has expanded its reach through digital distribution.
