Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling (also known as Jim Crockett Promotions) was a professional wrestling promotion based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Operating from 1973 to 1988, it was one of the most successful NWA territories, featuring stars like Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, The Road Warriors, and The Four Horsemen. The promotion was sold to Ted Turner in 1988 and became WCW.
