Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling
Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling (TJPW) is a Japanese women's professional wrestling promotion founded in 2013 as a sister promotion to DDT Pro-Wrestling under the leadership of Sanshiro Takagi.
TJPW combines idol culture elements with professional wrestling, featuring wrestlers who often have backgrounds in entertainment or idol groups. Despite this presentation, the promotion features legitimate wrestling with talented performers including Yuka Sakazaki, Shoko Nakajima, Miyu Yamashita, Maki Itoh, and Rika Tatsumi.
The promotion has developed a loyal international following, particularly after Maki Itoh gained viral fame. TJPW is part of the CyberFight family along with DDT and NOAH. Their major events include the Tokyo Princess Cup tournament and January Korakuen Hall shows.
