About

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Jacksonville, Florida, founded in 2019 by Tony Khan, who serves as the company's president and chief executive officer. The promotion was co-founded alongside professional wrestlers Kenny Omega, Cody Rhodes, and brothers Matt and Nick Jackson, who served as initial co-executive vice presidents. AEW's formation followed the success of the independent wrestling event All In in 2018.

With an estimated value of US$2 billion, AEW is recognized as the second-largest professional wrestling promotion in the world, behind World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), and the third most valuable combat sports-related promotion globally, after WWE and the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). AEW's roster primarily competes on its weekly broadcast television programs Dynamite and Collision, as well as on streaming and pay-per-view programming available across 220 territories in 50 languages. In 2022, Khan also acquired Ring of Honor (ROH), with AEW wrestlers appearing at events produced by or co-produced with that promotion.
