Fighting Network Rings

Fighting Network Rings (commonly known as RINGS) was a Japanese mixed martial arts and shoot-style professional wrestling promotion founded by Akira Maeda in 1991. RINGS was pivotal in the development of MMA, transitioning from worked shoot-style wrestling to legitimate MMA competition. The promotion produced numerous fighters who went on to success in Pride FC and other MMA organizations.
