About

Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) is an American independent professional wrestling promotion based in New Jersey. Originally founded by Ricky Otazu in 1999 under the name Jersey Championship Wrestling (JCW), the promotion was rebranded under its current name in 2015 following a sale to Danny Demanto and current owner Brett Lauderdale. GCW specializes in hardcore wrestling as well as mixed martial arts–inspired shoot style matches.

Since its rebranding, GCW has expanded significantly beyond its New Jersey roots, running events across the United States and internationally in countries including Canada, the United Kingdom, Japan, Australia, Germany, France, and Mexico. The promotion hosts several recurring annual events, among them Bloodsport, Joey Janela's Spring Break, the NGI, and the Tournament of Survival, establishing GCW as a notable fixture on the independent wrestling scene.
