Big Japan Pro-Wrestling (BJW) is a Japanese professional wrestling promotion founded in 1995, known for featuring both traditional strong style wrestling and hardcore death match wrestling.
BJW operates two distinct divisions: the Strong division featuring technical and hard-hitting wrestling, and the Death Match division featuring extreme matches with weapons like glass, light tubes, barbed wire, and fire. Notable wrestlers include Daisuke Sekimoto, Yuji Okabayashi, Isami Kodaka, Masashi Takeda, and legendary death match wrestler Jun Kasai.
The promotion holds its major events at Korakuen Hall and Yokohama Bunka Gymnasium. BJW's Death Match Survivor tournament and Strong Climb tournament are annual highlights. The company maintains a devoted fanbase for its authentic, brutal presentation of both styles of professional wrestling.
