Pro Wrestling Noah
Pro Wrestling NOAH is a Japanese professional wrestling promotion founded on August 4, 2000, by Mitsuharu Misawa along with nearly the entire roster of All Japan Pro Wrestling following a dispute with the promotion's management.
NOAH continued the King's Road style of wrestling that Misawa helped develop in AJPW, featuring dramatic, hard-hitting matches. The promotion was home to legendary wrestlers including Mitsuharu Misawa, Kenta Kobashi, Naomichi Marufuji, KENTA, Jun Akiyama, and Go Shiozaki. NOAH became known for producing some of the most acclaimed matches in wrestling history during the 2000s.
The promotion faced tragedy when Misawa died from injuries sustained during a match in 2009. NOAH continued under new leadership and was purchased by CyberFight in 2020, becoming part of a conglomerate with DDT. Major events include Global League and their annual Budokan Hall shows.
