About

Stampede Wrestling was a Canadian professional wrestling promotion based in Calgary, Alberta that operated from 1948 to 1990 (with a brief revival from 1999-2008). Founded and run by Stu Hart, the promotion was famous for training generations of wrestlers at the Hart Dungeon, including Bret Hart, Owen Hart, Chris Benoit, and many others. Stampede was a key NWA territory and produced some of the most technically skilled wrestlers in history.
