Biography
Toni Lea Adams, born Toni Lea Collins on August 19, 1964, in Freer, Texas, was an American professional wrestling valet and manager who worked in several North American regional promotions during the 1980s and 1990s, including the Universal Wrestling Federation and the United States Wrestling Association. She began her association with professional wrestling in 1984 when she joined Fritz Von Erich's World Class Championship Wrestling as a member of the production staff. It was there that she met Chris Adams, whom she later married in Hawaii.
Her on-screen career developed gradually. She made early television appearances supporting Chris Adams during his storyline eye injury before taking on an interviewer role for Bill Watts' Universal Wrestling Federation. She made her formal managerial debut alongside Chris in World Class Championship Wrestling in 1989, becoming involved in notable feuds with the team of Tojo Yamamoto and Phil Hickerson and later with Billy Travis. Among the other wrestlers she managed throughout her career were Brian Christopher, Scotty Flamingo, Koko B. Ware, Tony Falk, Rod Price, and Iceman Parsons. She also co-managed Chris Adams Promotions, which included a wrestling school and summer camp. Adams retired from wrestling in 1995 and passed away on June 24, 2010.
