Biography

Edge and Christian are a Canadian professional wrestling tag team best known for their work in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), later renamed World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). Trained by Ron Hutchison, the team debuted in 1997 and is billed from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In WWE, they performed under the name Edge & Christian, winning the WWF Tag Team Championship on seven occasions. They are recognized as one of the teams that revived tag team wrestling during the Attitude Era, and in 2012, WWE named them the greatest tag team in WWE history.

Beyond their tag team success, both men became multiple-time world champions individually. The team is also noted for their participation in the first three Tables, Ladders, and Chairs matches and their use of a signature double-chair attack known as the "con-chair-to." The team disbanded in 2001 but later reunited. Both men eventually signed with All Elite Wrestling, where they compete as Cage and Cope and currently hold the AEW World Tag Team Championships.
