Biography
Ashley Elizabeth Fliehr (born April 5, 1986) is an American professional wrestler who performs in WWE under the ring name Charlotte Flair. She debuted in NXT in 2013 after beginning her training with WWE in 2012. She was trained by Lodi, Sara Del Rey, and Ric Flair. A second-generation wrestler and daughter of Ric Flair, she was named Rookie of the Year by Pro Wrestling Illustrated in 2014 and was promoted to WWE's main roster in 2015. PWI readers voted her Woman of the Year and Top Female Professional Wrestler in 2016.
Flair is a record 14-time women's world champion in WWE, having held the WWE Divas Championship once, the WWE Women's Championship six times, and the SmackDown Women's Championship seven times. She has also held the NXT Women's Championship twice and the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship twice. In 2020 and 2025, she won the Royal Rumble match, becoming the first woman to win multiple Royal Rumble matches. She is widely regarded as one of the greatest women's professional wrestlers of all time.
