About

The book chronicles Foley's life from his upbringing in New York through his WWF Championship victory over The Rock in December 1998. Foley originally intended to title the book simply Blood and Sweatsocks, but the title was changed to reflect his well-known catchphrase, with the original title incorporated as the subtitle. The book debuted at number three on the New York Times Best Seller list on November 7, 1999, before climbing to number one on December 5. It was followed by three sequels continuing Foley's story.
