Randy Orton

Randal Keith Orton, born April 1, 1980, is an American professional wrestler who has been signed to WWE since 2000, where he performs on the SmackDown brand. Billed from St. Louis, Missouri, Orton is a third-generation professional wrestler, following in the footsteps of his grandfather Bob Orton, his father Bob Orton Jr., and his uncle Barry Orton. Before joining WWE, he trained and competed in the Mid-Missouri Wrestling Association-Southern Illinois Conference Wrestling. He was subsequently signed by the WWF and sent to Ohio Valley Wrestling, where he held the OVW Hardcore Championship twice.

Orton debuted on WWE's main roster in 2002, quickly joining the Evolution stable. In 2004, he became the youngest world champion in WWE history by winning the World Heavyweight Championship. He has since held the WWE Championship ten times and the World Heavyweight Championship four times, accumulating 14 world championship reigns in total — recognized by WWE as the third-most in history, behind John Cena and Ric Flair and tied with Triple H. He unified the two world titles in 2013 to become WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Among his other accomplishments, Orton has won the Royal Rumble twice, in 2009 and 2017, and captured the Money in the Bank ladder match in 2013. He is WWE's 17th Triple Crown and 18th Grand Slam Champion, has headlined WrestleMania three times, and since 2021 holds the record for most pay-per-view matches in WWE history.
